-For Alan Geber, coming up with new techniques is what he is all about. Geber, who has been fine-tuning his craft for over 30 years, came from very humble beginnings. When his father became ill, Geber left college to help out his father’s business partners. Their company, Tops Unlimited, would contract out its screen-printing jobs. After encountering problems with contract screen-printers, Geber taught himself how to screen-print. In the early years of his screen-printing, with various partners, Geber was able to build several different companies.
-In 1992, Geber achieved his first real success with Screened Images. Their largest account, Corporate Image, approached him with an opportunity for a joint venture. Screened Images grew to five automatic machines and 100 embroidery heads. One of Screened Images’ major accounts was Ecko Unlimited. Armed with the ideas and techniques that Ecko had seen in California, Screened Images produced consistently for their clients. In 2001, Geber was brought in by Ecko to set up and run its own state of the art in-house printing facility, Sweat Equity.
-Following an award-winning run with Sweat Equity, Geber left in 2003 to launch his current company, Innovations In Print. The company strives for excellence in printing and the highest quality of customer service. The production capability exceeds 175,000 pieces a month. Innovations In Print has spent a great deal of time and money experimenting with new inks and printing techniques in order to give its clients the ability to have their prints stand out from the rest.
